Happy Weekend Everyone!
I’ve had quite a few people ask me about my blog lately and first and foremost - thank you! As much as writing is therapeutic for me and a nice hobby for documentation of our travels, it is very nice to know that some of you actually enjoy reading my nonsense. :) I just wanted to write a quick note on where I’ve been!
I recently just completed my master’s certificate in leadership. I started this back in the fall and I honestly learned so much about myself through obtaining it. I was extremely nervous about going back to school. Shocker, I know. Not many of you would think this about me, but I actually didn’t enjoy school. I worked full-time through my undergraduate and felt that my real life experience that I was obtaining was more valuable than a lot of the courses I was taking. I’m not entirely sure what struck my fancy to go back to school, but I was very anxious about it when the time rolled around. J was so so supportive and it turns out I am much better at master’s courses than I was in my undergraduate courses; not to toot my own horn. I finally received my actual certificate in the mail a couple weeks ago. I am not sure if I will pursue my complete master’s, but we shall see.
We went to Jamaica back in January that I have yet to be able to type up about. It was one of our most relaxing vacations to celebrate J’s mom’s 60th birthday (early)! So fun. Soon enough, March was upon us and our dear friends got married down in Florida where J was the best man. Then we went into the busy spring season where time literally passed by so quickly. Celebrated another birthday (I stopped counting 3 birthdays ago). And Jason and I went to CMA fast for our second time. I just recently was in my long-time best friend’s wedding to celebrate her and her new hubby and we have 2 more weddings to complete this year’s festivites - lots of love!! On top of all this, we are finishing up our landscaping (3 years into homeownership) and I’ve been involved in various organizations and projects in the community.
So what’s the next adventure?
I hear this one often! Honestly, I’m trying to survive these next few weeks. (Extremely busy at work!) And maybe take a few long(er) weekends at the lake or somewhere to watch my absolute favorite season roll in - with a pumpkin spice latte in hand!
What’s something good that’s been happening in your life? Please share below, I’d love to know and celebrate with you!
An adventurous soul, a kind heart, and a sarcastic mouth. You never know which you will get.
